Our little glow worm
Our first week home has been pretty good. The biggest problem has been balancing Scarlett's needs with Sawyer's. Jerry and I take turns napping so we have the energy to play with Sawyer. I'm still really sore and have lots of restrictions with moving, bending, and lifting. Not to mention I feel like I'm constantly breast feeding Scarlett.
Well, the jaundice continued to get worse and when we were discharged from the hospital we went home with a billiruben light. Actually, it was more like a long rectangle attached to a vacuum hose. It gave Scarlett a blue glow and the necessary light for her to process the billiruben and return her skin color from yellow to normal.

Update on the echocardiogram- looks good
Got the results of the echocardiogram today. Looks like what they call VSD, which is a very small hole between the two ventricles of the heart. It's just something the doctors will keep an eye on, but most of the time they say these close up on their own. Scarlett will go for a follow up in 6 months. For now, nothing to worry about. =)
Update on day three

Baby Scarlett is doing well. The pediatrician (Dr. Austin) just came by to give her a check up. A little bit of jaundice we need to keep an eye on. They also noticed a heart murmur, so they just took her down for an echocardiogram. Once they get the results back, we'll know if its the type of thing that will close on its own or if there's something more serious. The pediatrician said she wasn't too worried, but wanted the echocardiogram just to be safe. We'll post updates as we have them. =)
